Monument
When holding a gold object such as a ring, you hold in your hand a material whose origins go back to the beginning of time. Monument is an ongoing series that is made out of an appreciation for the staggeringly ancient origins of these materials, expressed through visual and tactile references to early architectural forms and the eroding movement of water.
