‘Drimnin Shore’

These pieces were formed along the shoreline in Drimnin, Scotland, with the idea of connecting material with landscape. The coastal rocks were used to hammer on and with, creating an imprint of the landscape in metal.
The two ovals can be displayed together as wall pieces, flat on a table, or as shallow bowls.
They recently showed as part of the CAA Gallery exhibition, ‘Wood, Metal, and Paper’ (12th September - 4th November 2023).
