The Doorway ring takes its name from the unique cut of the diamond as well as from the French word ‘D’or’ – meaning ‘of gold’ or ‘golden’.

A one of a kind ring made in a bold, minimal design to highlight the crisp features and beautiful autumnal tones of the diamond. The ring was designed so that it could be worn alone or stacked flush against another ring (see last image).

Very special materials have come together to create this ring. The stone is a responsibly sourced cognac diamond from Western Australia. The source where these diamonds came from closed operations in 2020, but I was lucky to receive 5 of these diamonds, and have used each one to create 5 one of a kind rings, all hand crafted in 18k Fairmined gold.

The crisp brightness of a white diamond can be truly lovely, but naturally coloured brown diamonds are a special thing of their own. They seem to shift in colour at times and hold flashes of rich, earthy tones; burnt orange, deep red, light peach.
